Using the weft Ikat technique, this hanging intends to show what the stones are like (between two banks) when looking through the water. Dark stones, lighter stones and those where the iron has become attached. The streams within Glenteenassig are a wealth of rich and dark mosses, and iron clad stones. They are both dark and rich at the same time. Murky yet colourful. The water shifts any definition and on this one occasion it created an almost checker-board feel. Measures 70x130cms.
