The piece of weaving you want will have a specific end use.
If a rug is required, is it to be for decoration, or constant use. This can determine the techniques involved. Do you want one, or need two for effect.
If a scarf is wanted, should it be long, wide, decorative, for warmth, and is there a material you are allergic to. What colour do you want that is going to give you maximum pleasure.
If it is a picture, should it be hung from a pole, or framed. Will it remind you of something specific, or does its abstract colours excite you.
