What the tide leaves behind
These two images (30 x 30cms) are mounted onto cast acrylic. In the sand, when you walk on the beach, there are many treasures. Not least some of the patterns that get left behind by the tide coming in and going out. It leaves seaweeds, and shells and wood and sadly a great many things besides. It is a rich texture and I often spend more time on a walk looking at what the sea leaves us than the distant view.
