Granite Flows
Warp-faced, ikat hanging.Up the Connor Pass here in Kerry and elsewhere, water flows (seemingly from nowhere) over strong grey granite and where it dries off and seems lighter can create almost rippling light around the water. The weaving technique (warp-faced) combined with the Japanese ikat dyeing technique hopefully reflects the starkness of the granite against the water.
This hanging could be transformed into a rug by removal of the copper hanging bar. Price €680
