Everyone is creative, given the right opportunity and encouragement.  Tutoring, and learning as a tutor, has been very important to me throughout my weaving life.  If you would like to learn how to spin, or weave as a beginner, or work with me for a few days to perfect a technique as an experienced weaver, please contact me.  You may be on holiday in this area anyway and can spend some days in the workshop, or choose to come this way specifically. There are many good, reasonable forms of accommodation locally (hotels, guesthouses, self-catering, camping).

I have frame looms, table loom, a small and a large Glimakra counter-march loom and spinning equipment and materials. Fees are currently around 150 euros per full day depending on level of need and are negotiable. 

I designed and taught weaving and spinning courses with the Workers Educational Association (WEA) in the UK. They were Open College Network accredited courses, using the principles of Development Education in both its teaching and learning.  Through the brilliant work of the learners in those projects, the work of the course was exhibited nationally on many occasions and won awards for excellence in learning. I learned a great deal through working with the people on the Manor Estate in Sheffield and even though the funded project is ended after 10 years, they continue to meet as a weaving group.
